About Swinton Estate

With the privilege at Swinton Estate of sourcing a lot of our own materials, sustainability is at the forefront of our values in design and construction. A particular example of this is the new Estate Offices opening May 2024. The build is entirely cement free where instead, lime is used as it has 50% less emissions. Other sustainable materials include natural wood fibre insulation which stores 322 kg/m3 of CO2, making it carbon neutral and timber frames, derived from the Estate itself.
