The Santa Fe Watershed Association has been protecting and restoring the health and vibrancy of the Santa Fe River and its watershed, from the headwaters to the Rio Grande, since 1997. SFWA honors the connection of people and watershed through the avenues of education, restoration, stewardship, and advocacy. Programs include river and arroyo cleanups, erosion mitigation, storm water runoff reduction, aquifer recharge, lectures and classes for learners of all ages, supporting consistent flow within the river, and collaborating with other government and nonprofit organizations to help secure a sustainable, just, and equitable water future for humans and the environment alike.
