This project is a commercial complex in Hefei, China, with a hotel tower, an office tower, and a podium mall. The architectural design embodies the simple yet elegant power of contemporary Italian architecture. Through special corner treatments, it breaks the continuous uniform facade without reducing the available glazed area; this approach also extends to the podium and attic. This boundary definition with non-orthogonal lines gives the facade rich plasticity and a unique sculptural character.
