Residential Refurbishment Project of the Year 2023 (Bavaria): Stable House

The project has brought to light the surfaces of the building hidden by successive interventions over time, allowing the structure to re-emerge together with the rural atmosphere of its first intended use. It then reorganized the space respecting its rhythm but using geometries and materials with a higher level of abstraction than the original ones. Salvaged objects from different eras and contexts underline the temporal and functional stratification of the place.
