The Loading Dock, Inc. (TLD) is the United States� first successful, self-sustaining, non-profit building materials reuse center. TLD�s mission is twofold: to increase the supply and use of affordable building materials for housing and community improvement, and by redirecting landfill-bound, reusable materials into productive use.
 
Since 1984, TLD has saved clients $40 million, held over 400 free DIY workshops, and diverted 12,000 truckloads of materials from the landfill.  They continue to show that �You could build a house with what people throw away!�
