Architectures: The engineering, architectural, and managerial vision of Walter Sciacca revolutionizing motorsport and real estate
The prestigious award presented by Build Magazine as part of the Construction and Engineering Awards 2025 celebrates the integrated and deeply innovative vision of Walter Sciacca, founder and CEO of Sciacca International Projects. The award, granted in the category Most Innovative Motorsport-Related Real Estate Development Company, recognizes a unique approach that combines engineering expertise, architectural creativity, and managerial strategy, giving rise to futuristic infrastructures that redefine the boundaries between sport, design, and property development.
Sciacca International Projects is a global holding company specializing in the conception and innovation of futuristic projects in the fields of luxury, urban development, and sports facilities, with particular attention to motorsport.
The group stands out for its ability to propose multidisciplinary solutions, where engineers, architects, urban planners, and designers collaborate in synergy to generate functional, spectacular, and sustainable ecosystems.
With over thirty years of experience in managing complex projects, Walter Sciacca has built an evolved operational model in which technology, aesthetics, and business converge into a strategic vision capable of anticipating future challenges.
His visionary approach stems not only from deep knowledge of the sectors in which he operates but from a constant desire to transcend traditional paradigms, experimenting with new forms of interaction between space, movement, and innovation.
Three flagship projects now embody the strength of this vision:
Luxury Villas & Private Circuit: an exclusive residential format that blends high-end architecture and passion for motorsport.
The luxury villas designed by Sciacca International Projects house vehicles within their structures, giving owners direct access to the private racetrack from their living quarters.
The concept transforms automotive experience into a lifestyle, integrating advanced engineering solutions, outstanding architectural design, and managerial execution aimed at international replicability.
The project extends across 300 to 500 hectares depending on the version, and comes in four residential configurations, each tailored to varying needs and levels of exclusivity.
The ultra-luxury version includes only 10 standalone villas of approximately 5,000 square meters each, accommodating up to 60 vehicles over multiple levels, with internal infrastructure that allows direct transit.
Each villa features a private helipad, integrated within its grounds, ensuring maximum accessibility and discretion.
Other configurations include 30, 60, and 120 villas, all equipped with individual helipads and exclusive clubhouse access, maintaining consistent quality and luxury standards. The most comprehensive version includes, in addition to the 7.6 km private circuit featured in all configurations, an 18-hole golf course, a private jet runway, and areas dedicated to high-end hospitality and leisure.
Floating Street Circuit: the world’s first hybrid urban circuit, developed on modular floating platforms, the Floating Street Circuit represents a revolution in contemporary motorsport.
Conceived by Walter Sciacca, the project merges naval engineering, advanced architecture, and spectacle, radically redefining the racing experience.
The track comprises a land-based section hosting the main straightaway with the start/finish line, and a floating section extending across the sea via curves, chicanes, and straight segments, offering absolute design freedom and layouts impossible to replicate elsewhere.
Transition bridges, designed with cutting-edge engineering, ensure smooth and safe vehicle movement between land and floating platforms.
The land zone houses all the essential infrastructure for race execution: pit boxes, paddocks, media rooms, medical centre, race control, and hospitality spaces.
Elevating the spectator experience is the extraordinary floating architecture: floating grandstands with panoramic views, floating restaurants and hospitality lounges, floating helipads, vast floating entertainment zones, a floating concert stage, and the exclusive Yacht Hospitality.
Additionally, a fleet of dedicated yachts positioned along the circuit provides privileged viewpoints and luxury services during the event.
In terms of safety, the project will be executed with absolute care, guaranteeing the highest standards for spectators, personnel, and racing teams under every technical, structural, and operational aspect.
Covered Circuit: the first fully enclosed and climate-controlled racetrack, designed to operate in all weather conditions.
In addition to the track, the interior houses grandstands, hotels, wellness centers, restaurants, conference halls, a motorsport museum, educational environments, laboratories, hospitality zones, media facilities, and spaces for advanced technical training.
The concept is envisioned as a true multidimensional ecosystem where competition, research, education, and entertainment coexist in a controlled, highly technological setting with special emphasis on environmental sustainability, operational safety, and universal accessibility.
The visionary approach of Walter Sciacca has given life to three revolutionary projects, Luxury Villas & Private Circuit, Floating Street Circuit, and Covered Circuit, capable of redefining the paradigms of motorsport and residential architecture.
These three projects were awarded by Build Magazine at the Construction and Engineering Awards 2025 in the prestigious category Most Innovative Motorsport-Related Real Estate Development Company.
This recognition not only celebrates design excellence, but affirms the pioneering vision of Walter Sciacca and the ability of his team to translate futuristic ideas into concrete, sustainable, and high-impact scenic developments.
The award officially confirms the role of Sciacca International Projects as a global leader in the field of next-generation sports and residential architecture, highlighting the transformative power of these projects, redefining the way space is experienced, interpreted, and shared.
Today, Sciacca International Projects is synonymous with authorial vision, boundless creativity, and the ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Each milestone is a new beginning toward building the architecture of the future.
