Optixmarine started their journey in 2015 when they invented a way of enabling ships optimization that never had been seen before. The design work started and after 6 months the team had set the design of the OptixDrive. In the upcoming two years the design was taken to a full scale prototype unit. Vast tests were performed onboard 13000 ton coastal oiltanker Veritas Astoria that was trafficking the Baltic sea. After two thousand hours the result came back, the product had enabled total saving of fuel consumption and emissions was more than 25% approx, 1300ton CO2. The OptixDrive adds safety, reduce emissions and reduce cost for the owner.
