Bovenbouw Architectuur is an Antwerp-based firm founded in 2011 and led by Dirk Somers. It has won awards for heritage work, including the refurbishment of the listed Royale Belge headquarters in Brussels (with Caruso St John and DDS+) and three eclectic listed townhouses on Antwerp's main shopping street. Current historic redesigns include the Beursschouwburg in Brussels, the former Stuivenberg hospital site in Antwerp and the Marquis office building beside Brussels' cathedral.
