With 10 years under their belt, it’s clear that their work is deserving of recognition in the Architecture Awards from BUILD Magazine. We caught up with Alberto Beretta to find out more. The team also offers an astonishing millworks, as well as lighting and special finishes which stand apart from other companies on the market. The team’s CNC machines, 4.000 sqm of production department with 1.000sqm of internal painting department is key to achieving these results. It not only provides a path which is swift and efficient, but never loses the value of craftsmanship that people have come to expect. For a unique finish, where the quality of the final product easily holds its own against the most famous brands on the market, it’s always worth turning to the team from IFO. The team’s turnkey operation means that is is now possible to closely follow the designer’s philosophy and shape each space concept. Alberto was keen to explain how the turnkey approach has brought such success to the team. “Enhancing the atmosphere, the beauty of a space and its functionality represent IFO’s goals in creating the interiors of luxury hotels, residences, bars and restaurants,” he tells us. “Thanks to this attitude, some of the world’s finest interiors are born, where craftsmanship, perfection in every detail, attention to the construction and the careful selection of materials come together in a unique synthesis.” As such, IFO turns to the use of precious materials, but always takes care to ensure that they are leveraged as far as possible to enhance as opposed to overpower. The objective that the IFO team champions over all else is focusing on the details that make a functional space as efficient as possible. “IFO follows the supervision of the entire project, logistics, services and customs procedures, installation of furniture and after-sales service,” Alberto says with a smile. “There are many orders of special projects handled by IFO, which increases its credibility in the international community of design and architecture. Each project is an opportunity to demonstrate a solid know-how and exploit a vast wealth of resources.” One of the team’s latest projects has taken them in Vietman, where they have been awarded the contract to fit out and furniture 433 residences branded Marriott International in HCMC and 108 residences branded Ritz Carlton in HANOI for Masterise Homes.
