Build Magazine 61 What does your business do? We specialise in Interior Architecture and Design, working across three principal areas – Commercial, Healthcare and Residential design. Who are your clients? We have a diverse group of clients across these industries, such as, hospitals, both NHS and private; dental and orthodontic practices; residential and day centres for special needs of all ages; small boutique hotels and residen- tial clients who are undertaking refurbishment of their property or an extension or layout change to their property. What makes you unique? We are proven team players and work directly for a home-owner, organisation or as part of a team, with the highest quality contractors. By developing a positive working relationship with clients it allows us to carefully respond to your require- ments within the constraints of time, cost and quality to bring your vision to reality, giving you confidence that the project will be successfully completed to your satis- faction. We are winners of several awards – The International Property Award 2014 -2015 for the Best Public Service Building in the South East, The International Prop- erty Award 2014-2015 Best Public Service Building UK and the 2015 Architecture Innovation in Healthcare Award What’s your biggest challenge facing you at present? Finding enough hours in the day! What’s the aim for your business? To focus on creating innovative designs to enhance the lives of patients in the healthcare sector through our innovative designs. We are launching our own range of Commercial furniture later this year. This is a small range to begin with which we are looking to grow this part of the business. What’s your company’s biggest challenge? The new CDM 2015 regulations which came into force in April and now includes all residential projects and is a challenge explaining this to residential clients and tradespersons who work in this sector only. It is important to train and support staff through this transition which we are doing. What business/business person do you most admire and why? Thomas Heatherwick, because his designs are so diverse from the opening ceremony cauldron to the new London Routemaster bus. He was a key speaker at a recent conference held by the British Institute of Interior Design and he was articulate and entertaining.
