19 Pioneers in Sustainable Workforce Development 2025 – South America & Gen Z Workforce Sustainability Champions of the Year 2025 When Brazilians Igor Chohfi and Letícia Pavim met on an exchange trip to Egypt in 2019, they had no idea they would quickly become best friends – let alone start a company together on the back of their deep discussions about careers and workforce development. Yet, in 2021, they founded Rede Pavim, a pioneering company in their home country responsible for both helping business leaders to manage everything relating to their Gen-Z employees and supporting these young talents as they grow in a changing world. Letícia was on hand to tell us more. Serving as a bridge between generations, Rede Pavim works tirelessly to fortify the present and strengthen the future of the workforce in a way that is both human and sustainable. Less than five years into its journey, the company has already engaged with leaders and young professionals alike from some of the world’s biggest companies and most famous brands, with Coca-Cola, Deloitte, Ford, Hershey, L’Oreal, and JCDecaux being just some of the companies comprising its esteemed, everevolving clientele. When it comes to sustainability, the primary focus of this programme, Rede Pavim excels by helping companies to build sustainable cultures, a feat it achieves by strengthening their social and human sustainability via championing investments in their people, specifically across wellbeing, growth, and capacity. As mentioned above, at the heart of this is a drive to improve the connections between corporate leadership and Generation Z, this through the provision of sustainable workplace development programmes. “Through our programmes, we develop emotional intelligence, inclusive leadership, and soft skills to ensure teams remain engaged, resilient, and future-ready. This human-centred approach directly supports organisational sustainability by reducing turnover, fostering innovation, and building healthier workplaces.” Both of these programmes – one for leaders and one for the youngest members of a company’s workforce, respectively – are delivered under the banner of the ‘Z Program’. This pair of mutually beneficial solutions is geared towards developing entrepreneurial leaders to welcome innovation, improve relationships, and boost productivity within teams. Over the course of between four months and a year, the sessions here take the form of online, hybrid, or face-tolearning, with tasks tailored to a company. Far from the only initiative focused on humancentred leadership and employee engagement to be delivered by the team here, another standout offering is their keynote address: ‘How to Lead Generation Z and the Challenges in the Workplace’. Hundreds of corporations from across Brazil have immersed themselves in this content, which is set for the global stage via delivery in both English and Spanish as we move into 2026. This is born out of an awareness that the problems faced by Gen Z extend internationally. Fuelling this unique approach is the major shift seen in the realm of sustainability over the past few years, a subject which has gone beyond environmental metrics to cover bases such as social impact, diversity, mental health, and inclusion, creating a very different – but equally important – definition of sustainability. This opened the door for companies like Rede Pavim to come in and connect the dots between human development and performance, empowering organisations to grow and thrive in the process. Guiding Igor, Letícia, and the rest of the team here as they deliver these solutions are the cornerstones of personalisation, engagement, and research. The approach they have created is one that is bespoke, interactive, immersive, and driven by research. However, more than that, it is grounded in a real understanding. As Letícia explained: “We are not just talking about Generation Z, we are Generation Z. Igor and I belong to this generation, giving us a unique, authentic perspective on its challenges and opportunities.” Is it is no secret that Gen Z comes under a lot of fire, particularly in the workplace, but Rede Pavim does not take the easy way out by picking a side. Rather it places one foot firmly in the Gen-Z camp and another in the camp of leaders/the wider workforce. By encouraging people to meet halfway, the company is laying the groundwork for the future of industry – not just way in the future but in the coming days, weeks, and months. The conversations discussing these dynamics are often touted as transformative by clients. For the impact this Gen-Z leadership training company has had across everything from corporate soft skills and emotional intelligence through to building the future of work for the next generation of leaders, it is our pleasure to recognise Rede Pavim with two welldeserved awards in this programme. As they scale and double down on their vow to create sustainable, human-centred workplaces, we wish this team the best of luck.
