Real Estate and Property Awards 2026 For too long, the conveyancing experience has been seen as impersonal, overly corporate, and purely process driven. Enter Hudson Conveyancing, a residential conveyancing firm built to challenge this notion by providing clear, practical guidance to clients during what can often be a stressful and unfamiliar process. We heard more from Founder Bethany Hudson below, as Hudson Conveyancing earns applause in the Real Estate and Property Awards 2026. Best Residential Conveyancing Firm 2026 – UK & Most Client-Focused Conveyancing Firm 2026 – England & Wales “Our mission is not simply to complete transactions. It is to improve the experience of conveyancing for everyone involved.” Hudson Conveyancing was established in 2023, born from one Founder’s mission to create a better conveyancing experience for clients across England and Wales, while also building an environment in which professionals can genuinely enjoy the work they do. With a specific focus on residential conveyancing, the firm supports clients through a wide range of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. This is a mission shaped by Founder Bethany Hudson’s own experience, having viewed the property journey from several different perspectives over the course of her career. Bethany first began in second charge mortgage lending, before moving into estate agency and then working within a number of law firms specialising in residential conveyancing. By the time Bethany came to establish Hudson Conveyancing in 2023, she had seen first-hand how a property transaction operates from the agency, finance, and legal sides. That breadth of experience has had a significant influence on the way Hudson Conveyancing operates. Estate agency taught Bethany the importance of communication and understanding the wider chain; mortgage lending gave her insight into lender requirements and the financial side of a transaction; and her time within law firms developed the technical legal knowledge and practical conveyancing experience needed to guide clients safely through the process. “Residential conveyancing felt like the natural place to bring all of that experience together,” Bethany shared. “I wanted to create a service that is technically strong but also recognises that, for the client, this is rarely ‘just a transaction’. Buying or selling a home is often tied to a major life event, and clients need someone who can explain the legal process clearly while also understanding the practical pressures surrounding it.” This wider perspective continues to shape Hudson Conveyancing today. The team aims to remain practical and communicative in its client engagements, explaining matters clearly and approaching the transaction as a whole. With Bethany’s extensive background across real estate, mortgage lending, and residential conveyancing, the firm equally recognises the pressures and priorities of other professionals involved, driving a more practical and collaborative approach. Equally important for Hudson Conveyancing is continued investment in its team, recognising that the quality of client experience ultimately depends on the people delivering it. Bethany asserts that training should go beyond showing someone how to complete an individual task; professionals should ensure that clients understand the wider transaction, the reason behind what they are doing, the risks involved, and how to approach the difficult parts of a matter with confidence. “I believe that improving the way we train conveyancers has an impact far beyond the individual,” she told us. “Better supported and more technically confident professionals ultimately provide a better experience for clients, but it can also help address some of the wider issues the profession faces around stress, burnout, and talented people deciding to leave the industry. This is something we want Hudson to contribute to as we grow: developing capable, confident conveyancing professionals who feel supported in their careers.” In this same vein, Hudson Conveyancing’s future is centred on pursuing sustainable growth by building upon all it has achieved thus far. This will see the firm expanding its presence across Yorkshire and the North East, while at the same time continuing to invest heavily in the development of its team, particularly through technical training and greater exposure to even more complex areas of conveyancing. “Ultimately, our focus is not growth for growth’s sake,” Bethany concluded. “We want to grow in a way that is sustainable, protects the quality, of our service, and creates genuine opportunities for our team. For the remainder of 2026, that means strengthening our regional presence, continuing to develop our people, and laying the foundations for the next stage of Hudson Conveyancing growth.” Contact: Bethany Hudson Company: Hudson Conveyancing Limited Web Address: www.hudsonconveyancing.co.uk Hudson Conveyancing Limited
