Q3 2019 BUILD 35 Jan19509 ounded in 1996 by Australian Architect David Linford, Concept Consult Architects (CCA) was established to deliver clients conceptually unique and specific designs developed from a close understanding of the brief and client requirements. Over the last 22 years, CCA have built an exceptional portfolio of work which includes projects ranging from small housing and public buildings, to large scale industrial complexes for clients such as IKEA, Nestlé, Ginox Food Systems and Alupak to name but a few. Together with their sister studio, Concept Consult Design (CCD), the firms have worked collaboratively to develop a holistic design approach where both exterior and interior design concepts blend together to create a coherent whole, which is always referring to context, budgets and deadlines, ultimately aiming to offer a one stop consulting strategy. David begins by going into further detail about the firm’s ‘One Stop’ strategy, touching on how the approach has led the partnership to deliver exceptional projects to their clientele. “This ‘One Stop’ consultancy concept is conceived to guide and manage all the technical design and construction interfaces, in order to take any given project through all the phases from initial conceptual sketch design through to building completion. By using LEAN project management skills and 3D BIM technical coordination programs, they are able to deliver ‘conceptually coherent’ design solutions tailored to the clients’ specific and general requirements. “All of the projects which have been made by Concept Consult Architects and Concept Consult Design are conceived and built to very exacting standards compliant with Swiss building codes and practice. At the heart of the firms philosophy, is the wish to treat every client with the same degree of dedication, whether their project is a multi-million-pound construction, or a modest residential transformation.
