Delfina shared: “We were called by this client specifically for our signature “quiet luxury”, elegance, and ability to work on each project concept to site construction supervision, right through to the handover to the client. This project is made up of 8 high-end villas tucked into the folds of the Dubai Desert dunes served by the famous Resort. “What inspired the project was the silence, the silence of the desert. In a city like Dubai, which is very bright, busy, and noisy, making silence a true luxury. The project had to merge into this silence. Not be loud or sharp, but smooth and discreet, and this is expressed through everything in the project: from the smooth shapes and details to the earthy muted palette.” Utilising natural materials, such as wood and stone, to create a peaceful and symbiotic relationship between nature and humankind, Delfina Design connects us with the surrounding desert environment.
