Mr Meri himself has more than 20 years’ worth of building design experience and has developed unique skills in order to consist- ently achieve high-quality building design and to meet clients’ specific needs. Mr Meri works to a brief, set by the client, to achieve a pleasant and practical environment as the end result. Mr Meri and his team follows all of the regulations set in place and work to the highest standards re- quired by law, as well as constantly improving their skills in order to create better working relationships with clients by maintaining strong communication links throughout the design process. As an innovative architect, Mr Meri invests his time on develop- ing ideas for clients that leads to practical solutions to any given design challenges. His unique design methods and techniques are not only flagships of his practice but also creating comfort- able, visually pleasant and functional spaces that benefits the occupants, and the wider society, with everlasting added value. As a principal architect Mr Meri’s many strengths is the ability to understand client’s needs and guide them successfully to achieve the most practical and unique living or working spaces. His design technique not only stretches the traditional building geometry, but also the boundary of building materials. Mr Meri also stretches the imagination of the builders in translating his design with the introduction of organic geometry, which design adds flavour to his solutions and paves the way to enjoyable fluid movements within the building. Mr Meri first studied Architecture at the University of East London, where he acquired a Bsc (Hons) in 1996. He then went on to specialise in Advanced Environment and Energy Study in Architecture in 1998 where he obtained an Msc while he was working as a designer in a medium sized company. As a designer, Mr Meri’s first responsibility involved various spe- cialised building elements, space planning and interior design. Having married in late 1997, and with his unique design talent becoming noticed and beginning to attract wider attention, it was safe to say he was very busy in the design studio! It was during these first few years that Mr Meri spent most of his time detailing Architecturally Speaking With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, AM Meri Chartered Architects has been awarded the prestigious title of Best Property Renovation Specialists in London. E building elements for schools, apartments, commercial buildings and the London Underground, whilst providing complete interior design and space planning for famous restaurants and bars. He also won a competition and designed a special display stand for one of the biggest film processing laboratories in the country, in order to help revolutionise the new digital printing technology that was rapidly becoming available. The display stands were placed at every major airport in the UK and has since become a prototype for other marketing display stands. In the year 2001, Mr Meri joined a small Architectural Practice in West London in order to furtherhis organic design philosophy within the sphere of predominately residential design. He Joined RIBA OBE programme at Oxford School of Architecture and obtained his post Graduate Diploma and RIBA Part 2 in 2003, and in 2005 he obtained his RIBA Part 3 (PGc in Professional Practice in Architecture) from the University of Westminster. He was elected as a full chartered member of RIBA and registered to practice as an Architect with ARB. Having had 11 years of diverse design experience, Mr Meri then established his own practice in 2007, concentrating more on one-off houses, high-end apartments, commercial buildings and interior design. With his first design commission being a large seven bedroom luxury house in Moor Park Private Estate, he has since designed more 120 buildings. Mr Meri’s extensive knowledge in Advanced Environmental Tech- nology in Architecture benefits his clients and allows him to build the most sustainable and efficient buildings that he possibly can.
