I Best Full-Service Interior Lighting Company 2019 - London Following their recent win in BUILD’s 2019 Home & Garden Awards for the Best Full-Service Interior Lighting Company in London, we take a closer look at the Industville brand and how a solid vision helps them ensure they stay ahead of the competition. Jan19624 Company: Industville Ltd Name: Ramie Bains Address: 218D, 1 Swan Road, London SE18 5TT Telephone Number: 02079717871 Web Address: When discussing just how the company differentiates themselves in such a competitive industry, Marketa has a clear view, “We recognise just how important continued dedication to innovative design is as well as strict adherence to our business plan. This has allowed us to find gaps in the market, contributing to rapid and continuous business growth” It is clear to see this dedication in the companies approach to research and development. For Industville this revolves around two key areas; developing new cutting-edge lighting products for general sale, and developing high- end bespoke lighting installations for clients, based on their individual requirements. All products, whether part of a big project or for general sale, are made from the same high-quality materials and are individually hand-crafted to ensure an authentic quality as is found in vintage fixtures. Taking a look at Industville’s latest new products, we were presented with a collection of beautiful waterproof lighting. Marketa explained, “We knew from our customers that there was a demand for our vintage style industrial lights which could also be used in wet areas such as bathrooms or outdoors. We were keen to fill this gap and so started re-development of some of our existing styles. Safety regulations command that outdoor lights carry a certain level of IP rating, so we had to find new and innovative solutions to achieve this. Furthermore, the original raw materials used in the designs - copper & brass - oxidise when wet so a protective solution had to be developed, which didn’t affect the light’s unique texture.” Besides new product development, Industville are also firm believers in the practice of social responsibility and encourage similar behaviour in their employees and suppliers. “Our values bind us to support the communities in which we operate, and success is viewed not only in financial terms but also by way of positive change” comments Marketa. She continues, “Here at Industville we strive to do business in the right way, making a worthwhile contribution. With a focus on commercial stimulus and supporting local businesses, we focus on making customers and employees happier and their communities stronger”.
