Construction and Engineering Awards 2026

Construction and Engineering Awards 2026 In 1968, octanorm introduced an exhibition construction system that has had a lasting impact on the international exhibition industry. The company’s innovation revolutionised the way exhibition stands were constructed, focusing on reusability and modular design, which allowed for flexible and efficient setups that could be reused over time. Since its introduction, octanorm has continued to evolve, becoming a name synonymous with quality, durability, and sustainability in exhibition construction. What first began almost six decades ago with an octagon has grown into a global standard. octanorm is a longstanding market leader in modular construction systems for clients within the exhibition construction, interior and project solutions, presentation environments, and certified cleanroom technology sectors. Its solutions are used across exhibition construction, retail, architecture, office, showroom, museum, pharmaceutical, healthcare, electronics, and semiconductor environments. Much more than a system frame provider, octanorm’s capabilities span from floor to ceiling, from exhibition booths to double-deck structures, project solutions, and cleanroom environments. Its modular exhibition systems comprise the octawall frame system, extrusions such as the octaclassic and maxima, the octamax double-deck system and the octafloor double-floor system, the octarig ceiling system, and integrated lighting solutions such as octalux and octalumina. While many competitors focus on delivering isolated elements such as frames or profiles, octanorm stands out for offering complete modular, integrated solutions. Its systems are designed to work together seamlessly, allowing clients to create complete spatial concepts within one consistent construction logic. This gives clients major advantages, including reduced complexity, faster planning, reliable assembly, high design flexibility, and long-term reusability. Alongside this comprehensive suite of system solutions, octanorm also delivers customised project solutions for interiors, retail, offices, showrooms, and museums; modular cleanroom solutions for pharma, healthcare, electronics, and semiconductor environments; and digital planning and sustainability tools, including its ai booth designer and CO₂ calculator. Every one of octanorm’s systems are designed for circular material use over one-off construction. The company’s modular aluminium systems are durable, reusable, and recombinable, offering clients an alternative to single-use construction concepts. Sustainability is embedded into every aspect of octanorm’s operations, with an astonishing 90% of its products being recyclable and its outstanding ospi network reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 65% through local production and shorter transport routes. ospi stands for Octanorm Service Partner International, a global network consisting of more than 100 selected partners who work hand in hand with one another to support clients from concept to completion. Building exhibits wherever they are needed around the world, ospi simplifies procedures, facilitates communication, and delivers smooth workflows, saving time and money whilst reducing pollution. The efficacy of octanorm’s modular systems was demonstrated through one of its more A pioneer in the field of exhibition stand construction, octanorm is an industry-leading company currently shaping the future of modular construction through system thinking, sustainability, and digital innovation. The company has been developing modular solutions in the areas of exhibitions, architecture, and cleanrooms for more than 55 years, and has earned recognition for its exceptional work in the Construction and Engineering Awards 2026. We took a closer look at its superlative solutions below, in the wake of such significant success. recently completed projects, the completion of a state-of-the-art cleanroom solution for Maropack. Designed specifically for demanding pharmaceutical filling and packaging processes, the project required the cleanroom to meet strict technical and hygiene requirements whilst being seamlessly integrated into the existing building structure. This project comprised approximately 1,400 m² of cleanroom walls, 115 m² of all-glass walls for transparency and spatial clarity, and a 1,300 m² walk-on cleanroom ceiling with integrated lighting. Throughout the project, the octanorm team faced the challenges of integrating the system into an existing structure without compromising performance, and of combining functionality, efficiency, maintenance access, and design quality. Its successful completion shows how octanorm’s vast modular system expertise can be applied to highly specialised technical environments where precision, reliability, and adaptability are critical. Since pioneering its unique approach in 1968, octanorm has consistently set industry standards through continuous innovation, engineering excellence, and a clear systembased philosophy. The company has established and maintained a global leadership position in modular construction systems for over 55 years. Maintaining its high standards of relevance, innovation, and global reach for more than five decades has established octanorm as a trusted partner in the industry, wholly deserving of its recognition as the Leading Modular Construction Systems Provider 2026.
