This required a practical solution that responded to the human, environmental, and technical context of Aqaba. Shotcrete became the optimal construction method, allowing international specialists to work closely with local Aqaba builders and combine advanced knowledge of complex steel superstructure curves with the craftsmanship and adaptability of local teams. Looking ahead, Ayla Oasis Development Company has already launched the design process of a new residential area with direct access to the lagoons.
