Donna is an associate of Kearns Mancini Architects. Her early years’ experience in supportive and seniors housing has evolved into a deep understanding as to how good design can liberate human potential. Since then she has successfully applied that unique thinking to the world of retail banking, government and corporate workplaces for clients across Canada. Donna has lead the firm’s 26 year relationship with the Bank of Montreal and its network of nearly 1000 locations; she has successfully completed over 200 types of projects for the bank ranging from its national flagship property at First Canadian Place in Toronto. Recently, working in a design-build relationship, Kearns Mancini lead the design execution of the new 60,000 square foot Royal Bank WaterPark Place III project. This interior tenant fit-out was designed to a LEED Gold standard and delivered as a sophisticated and environmentally sensitive working environment for the Bank. Currently being completed is “Deloitte University” a 31,000 square foot accredited 3rd level education facility, uniquely integrated into the workplace environment at Deloitte’s new head offices in Toronto, Canada. The facility consists of classrooms, training rooms, breakout rooms and multi- purpose rooms with integrated audio visual technology as a key component of the learning and interactive environment. Kearns Mancini Architects has recently completed the Fort York Visitors’ Centre and was awarded numerous awards including the Toronto Urban Design Awards, Award of Excellence, 2015.
